Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport (CMN), you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. This marks the beginning of your 12‑day Moroccan journey. After settling in, you can explore the city’s modern Corniche, relax, and acclimate to the vibrant atmosphere.
Day 2: Marrakech – Full Day Guided Tour
We’ll spend the day exploring the treasures of Marrakech with an expert local guide. We’ll tour the World Heritage‑listed medina, visit the lush Majorelle Gardens, admire the architectural delights of the Bahia Palace, and experience the non‑stop spectacle of Jemaa el‑Fnaa Square.
Day 3: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley
Today we venture into the spectacular Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. We’ll visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and film location for Gladiator, and stop in Ouarzazate, the capital of Moroccan cinema. The day ends with our arrival in the majestic Dades Valley at sunset.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we head to the impressive Todra Gorge for a walk between its 300‑meter‑high cliffs. In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga. Here, we’ll ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes for an unforgettable sunset, followed by a night at a traditional Berber camp.
Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes
We leave the desert, crossing the vast palm grove of the Ziz Valley. We’ll stop in Ifrane, nicknamed “Moroccan Switzerland,” and visit the Azrou Cedar Forest to see Barbary macaques. We arrive in the cultural capital of Fes in the late afternoon.
Day 6: Fes – Full Day Guided Tour
A day dedicated to exploring the imperial city of Fes with a local guide. We’ll delve into the Fes el‑Bali medina – a living medieval labyrinth – to visit the traditional tanneries, historic madrasas, and bustling souks, offering a complete immersion in Moroccan culture.
Day 7: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
We head north with cultural stops. We’ll visit Meknes to admire the monumental Bab Mansour gate and explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Finally, we arrive in Chefchaouen, the fascinating “blue city” nestled in the Rif Mountains.
Day 8: Chefchaouen – Tangier
Enjoy a free morning to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace, getting lost in its iconic blue alleys. In the afternoon, we head to Tangier, the cosmopolitan gateway on the Strait of Gibraltar.
Day 9: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat
We first visit Asilah, a charming coastal town famous for its white walls and vibrant art scene. We then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, to visit the Oudayas Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
Day 10: Rabat – Casablanca – Essaouira
We stop in Casablanca to admire the imposing Hassan II Mosque from the outside. We then head to Essaouira, a charming walled coastal city and UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its relaxed atmosphere and blue‑and‑white medina.
Day 11: Essaouira – Free Day & Return to Marrakech
Enjoy a full day in Essaouira at your leisure – stroll through the fishing port, explore the fortified ramparts (Sqalas), relax on the beach, or savor fresh seafood. In the late afternoon, we return to Marrakech along the coastal road. You’ll have the evening for last‑minute shopping or a final mint tea overlooking Jemaa el‑Fnaa Square.
Day 12: Departure from Marrakech
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) for your departure, taking with you unforgettable memories of 12 days discovering the diversity and magic of Morocco.
